Driver Information

Here at Mississauga Mini Indy, our track is 1.2 km long. Each lap is 2 minutes long. Our track features a dual bridge with an underpass. Also, our track features 1 long straightaway for maximum acceleration. Including plenty of sharp turns, you are sure to have a thrilling experience. 


No matter your age, skill, or comfort level we can meet your needs and create a great day at the races!


Age & Height Requirments

Adult karts – Aged 14 and up, with a minimum height of 54 inches tall.


Junior karts – Aged 11 and up, with a minimum height of 54 inches tall.


Double Riders – Free passengers, ages 4-10 only, with a minimum height of 36 inches tall. *Drivers must have their full G license*

Kart Information

Our go-kart fleet runs Honda engines. The junior and adult run on Honda’s 5.5 horsepower motor. The double kart runs on a more powerful engine, Honda’s 9 horsepower motor. The junior kart’s max speed is 25km/hr, the adult kart’s speed is 30 to 35km/hr and the double kart caps out at 35km/hr, respectively.

Mini Indy Rules & Regulations

 

  • Mississauga Mini Indy DOES NOT plan or coordinate races or time trials
  • All riders must meet the required age and height regulations to ride
  • All non-riders must wait behind the fence line
  • DOT helmets are provided and must be worn. Helmet hairnets are optional and are also provided
  • Communicate to the track attendant if it’s your first time riding a go-kart
  • Obey track attendant instructions upon pit entry
  • Any medical concerns should be considered prior to entry
  • Any person shall not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Cell Phone use and smoking is strictly prohibited while drive a go-kart
  • All arms shall stay inside the go-kart, and both hands on the steering wheel
  • All loose clothing and items shall be secured before entering a go-kart
  • Loose hair or Hijab MUST be tied up and/or tucked before entering a go-kart 
  • Green gas pedal to go, Red brake pedal to stop. Do not press both at the same time
  • Seatbelts must be buckled at all times
  • If you experience trouble on the track, raise your hand high, and an attendant will be out to assist you
  • Stopping, bumping, hitting, swearing, and drifting is strictly prohibited on the track
  • Do not attempt to touch or alter engine settings

 

Failure to follow these rules will be kicked off the track at any point. 

Ontario TSSA Rules & Regulations

  • You must meet the age and height requirements.
  • Keep hands and feet inside at all times.
  • Approved Helmets must be worn (Mini-Indy provides helmets).
  • Hair longer than the shoulder length and loose clothing shall be secured.
  • Riders shall not operate a kart while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • No smoking in karts or in the pit area.
  • No stopping, bumping, or swerving on the track.
  • Obey the attendant and stay in the kart until the ride is complete, and directed by an attendant to unload.
  • No rider shall act in a manner that may cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others.
  • Any violation will cause the rider to forfeit the remainder of the ride and may result in charges under the Technical Standards and Safety Act.
